Cholesterol Problems

Take Lipitor for 6 months, if your liver is OK.
Only use olive oil or canola oil in cooking.
Eat more nuts.
Eat lots of fish.
Lots of fruits and vegetables.
(Naturally, you have to watch calories while doing above so that you don't gain weight)
Avoid red meat, eggs, junk/fast food.

policosanol, niacin, high fiber, plus the diet about.

Guvna...good info

DO NOT TAKE LIPITOR. Your cholesterol with come back to normail with 2 months from a clean diet + some policosanol, garlic, EFA's. Lipitor should not be used unless prescribed by a doctor. Do not self-medicate.

You think taking AAS, HCG, Nolvadex, Clomid is not self medication?
These are some of the most powerful medicines.
FDA is considering release of Mevacor for OTC sale.
Zocor is available OTC in Britain.
The purpose of taking Lipitor would be to undo the damage during the time when your cholestrol was bad.
It did do damage to the arteries during that period.

Weither taking AAS is self medicating or not, people on this board will take AAS if they want to (you can't stop them, and neither can I) They know most of the risks.

But telling them to take a prescription Drug for Cholesterol (that they sure as hell do not need after a dbol cycle) is plain irresponsible.

Rather, you should tell tell to go to a doc and get their cholesterol checked out and have the doc prescribe some.

FYI, One issue about releasing Mevacor OTC is the problem of having people will self Medicate. The average Joe can not correct their own cholesterol on their own.

Not flaming you bro, just giving you my opinion. We're all here to help each other out and sometimes playing the devil's advocate role is very important.

These medicines are so good that sometimes experts joke that may be we should put them in drinking water.
I have 12 years of experience of using these drugs and I know what I am talking about.
People are wasting money on so many supplements that have questionable benefits at best.
This is proven thing. My cholesterol is normal. I am still taking it. Any advantage that I can get.

my HDL went from 17 to 48 in exactly one month. I supplemented with niacin, had a high fiber diet, and took flax and olive oil.

Prescription cholesterol meds are something I see as a last resort.

If something can be done efficiently and effectively without another prescription pill then that should be the course of action - thats pure logic for you.

I wouldn't take a statin blocker, unless my life actually DID depend on it.

Post cycle lipid levels are no where near bad enough to warrant use for that, especially considering how fast they will recover. Unless you're already at risk, then you have no business taking AAS in the first place.

Cholesterol is necessary, even the LDL.

1,000-3,000 mgs Niacin ED. There's an abundant ammount of information available in relation to cholesterol. Niacinamide, the amide version of nicotinic acid (Niacin), is the no flush version and can be used interchangably.

Thanx for the input bros

High doses of pantothenic acid (B-5) also appears able to control cholesterol. Not to mention that it protects the liver and can control acne.
