Anybody love that joint as much as I do(besides Ozzy)? I could eat one of their chicken burrito's everyday.

Anyone know the cals in one of them bitches?

No, but I have eaten chipotle 3-4 times in 2 days beofre.. that $hit gets addictive... I think they put drugs in em...

I like the food, even though you don't really get a lot for the money. I could do without the noisy aztec-industrial, wanna-be-Starbucks atmosphere though.

Fuck man, up here we dont get any good mexican/psuedo-mexican.
I love that shit, too.

I never really liked Chipotle a lot...
Of course it's good, freshly made, filling... but I don't crave it.

I always feel like I have dropped a bag of marbles into my stomach after eating it.

In the MSP area I like Baha Tortilla Grill. There's one on Hennepin and 21st/22nd/23rd.

That being said, I have eated at Chipotle a lot.

Never been there though I have driven by it many times. I'll have to check it out sometime soon.

U from this area?

Chipotle RULES. I just ate there last night in Blizzaine. Baja sucks IMO. They don't have nearly as much flavor. Ever go to Little Tijuanas off of Nicolet in Minneapolis? WAY hot waitresses (if you like tats/piercings), and WAY cheap.

I'll have to check that too. I don't hit downtown very often anymore, as I live about 10-15 miles NW of there.

Same for me. I used to live in the city, but $$$. Good food off of Nicolett Ave though (more Uptown then Downtown). Kristo's is AWESOME.

I lived in Minneapolis for several years. Right on Hennepin in S Minneapolis. I'll be coming back for a visit sometime in January.

I don't know if you could get a real accurate cal count on one of those. For me, it depends which store I go to as to how much stuff I get in it. :)

My boss said he saw something on the news that stated their steak burrito was 1100 cals. I don't see that.

That is a toss up... It really depends what you want to get that day. Baja has more selection, but Chipolte is damn tasty!

I think Chipotle's servings are bigger, no question. But for quality, it's no contest.

Chipotle's Chicken Burrito (with black beans, rice, cheese, and salsa) weighs in at nearly 1,000 calories and 12 grams of saturated fat.

Chipotle's Vegetarian Burrito (with black beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, and salsa) weighs over a pound and provides 1,120 calories and three-quarters of a day's worth of saturated fat (14 grams).

Chipotle's Barbacoa Burrito (with shredded beef, pinto beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa) hits nearly 1,300 calories and three-quarters of a day's worth of saturated fat. That's the equivalent of a Quarter Pounder, a large order of fries, and a large Coke.

Chipotle's Chicken Burrito Bols--burritos without the 340-calorie flour tortillas--are CSPI's only recommended "Better Bites" at Chipotle. A Bol with chicken, black beans, lettuce, and salsa, has just 430 calories and four grams of saturated fat. Rice instead of lettuce adds about 200 calories.

I find that both chipolte and baja tortia are much better in St. Louis park, even though I live very close to baja in uptown. Chipolte in uptown always seems to have a long line and baja's meat doesn't seem to be very fresh. Ganryu you are definately correct about the waitresses at Little Tijuanas

Nice work pink!.... Damn- I just wonder who in the hell only eats one Quarter Pounder- and where is the cheese?

Very interesting.

I tell people that I go to Baja Fresh (which will no doubt have similar numbers) only for an occassional cheat meal. They say, "but that stuff's not cheating!"

Most of the time I just nod, rather than explaining it to them.

Gotta love advertising.
