Chinese passport..... difficult?

Im planning on takeing a short trip to China in the near future and would like a little insight on how difficult of a ordeal its going to be as far as applying for a passport and what not.

Are you traveling for work? When I applied to travel in India for work I went to the Indian consulate in Houston (I think) w/ a letter from my boss (actually he came w/ me) and we included where we were going - which was specifically one of our sites in Mumbai. Had no problem doing it - helps if you have a legitimate reason. I had to provide specific dates and state specifically for work.

Im not takeing the trip there to see the sights "per say" I have intentions on bringing back a chinese women to the states with me on hopes of her becomeing my wife. The time for this is right for me with my active duty service obligation completeted.

no they are going thru an extreme growth period, everything is hustle...imagine NYC on steroids, that is Bejing right now.

I agree with you on that note. I made sure we have a mutual understanding that I am not rich nor will I ever be rich, but I will always provide for her.

My parents went w/ a tour group in 2005 - I didnt' ask but I don't recall that they mentioned any trouble. You will need to get all the required shots & stuff tho.

Dont get me wrong I love american women to death, I have spent nearly a year in asia & it's my personal belief that asian women make better wifes. Well to make a long story short I joined a web site that its purpose is mainly geared for western guys who want eastern oriental women. So, I then began a online relationship with a chinese girl. I have been contemplating this for a while now. I know from a american stand point this isnt very practical not doing the standard courtship, however Im a very impractical person. I know what I want, why should I settle for less?

You should just check out some websites or call a travel agent for group trips & find out what is involved to travel.

only add malaria shot if you go during the rainy season, otherwise for a short trip you are probably fine.

Don't drink anything you dont' see opened in front of your eyes.
