"Chin Strap" beard

What do you guys think of these?

Contemplating growing it out then leaving a thin line from sideburns along jaw, etc.

Seems to either look good or look like a cheap fred durst.

BTW, Burberry Touch = Greatest Thing Ever. This girl was amazed by it.
