Funny how not a second thought was given to the "norm" that "they want to drink beer...". This is all fine as the author who not two breaths from that sentance takes his uneducated posture on steroids. Is something out of place here?...Perhaps reality. And alcohol doesn't cause liver disease?...That has been documented countless times with the most severe complications. I suppose it's a comforting fact that at Comiske they don't allow smoking in the stands...You have to go out to the concorse for that. And when you do you will see 5000 other people out there with a smoke fuming away its toxins in one hand while having the coordination to hold thier ice cold brew in thier other hand...Nothing wrong with this picture from a health standpoint...And oh yeh...Thier kids are standing right next to them. And when dad has to take a piss the kid is told to hold the beer. That's a role model. To hell with an athelete. Someone who knows what dedication and hard work is. To hell with some slugger whom is in top notch health due to intense, routine physical training and proper dietary habits (Bonds comes to mind). "Son, hold my beer" as dad stamps out the remaining shreds of ignited cigarette. God forbid kids should aspire. God forbid people should know the TRUTH.
