OH, now that is going balls toi the wall for a hobby. I thought it was bad when I made my own steel chainmail for a halloween costume, out of 17G steel wire in 1/4" links.

Ok, so maybe it was bad.

Ok, I'll shut up now.

lol...wtf?

It's a badass toy. So powerful and loud. I had him taxi around my front yard and it literally worked like a leaf blower and saved me some weekend work.

I just watched the videos, that thing has some speed! Is that a kit or did he design it himself?

thats fuckin awesome , how much was it ?

Between $8-$10,000...he won't let me tie him down on a figure.

He also has an enclosed trailer that he totes it around in. Awesome setup he has.

RG

It was a kit but they made some modifications to it. He helped build it but he had a friend that did all the technical stuff on it and paint it.

He won't let you tie him down to a figure, or he won't let his wife tie him down to a figure :)

Awesome piece of hardware.

lol...I guess a little of both. I keep telling him guys can keep secrets between each other. We know how that shit works by experience.

10k is a pretty good estimate. its about 8K for the propulsion and fuse, and add in electrics for another grand or so. Killer machine though, and the newest mini- jets have serious power.

How did he start it up? did he have a mini sniffer?

He probably did although I don't really know all about those things.

He had this small fuel cannister that had a little battery on it and an electric fuel pump. He filled it up and I was busy putting the fuel cannister up when he started it so I really didn't see that part.

He has an amazing set up. He has a Pace-Arrow 6 X 12 enclosed trailer and has shelfs and stuff in it. Every part of the jet that comes apart for storage has it's own little cushioned zippered canvas bag to fit each part.

Pretty impressive and I know he must have well over $15-$20,000 in the whole shabang.
