You are avoiding the issue. Big government is not accepted in any form under a Democratic administration but excuses are abound and readily accepted with a Republican administration. Why the inconsistency?

Well, America's safety is also at issue when young teenage girls get a botched abortion or when people committ suicide because they have nothing to live for b/c their wages are 2 bucks an hour.

But that doesn't require big government does it....you radical extremists?

As I am sure that you know already, Alexis de Tocqueville has stated that war is an excellent means by which the government can oppress the people. War (or the threat thereof) is also related to higher taxes. I would be very wary in the way that this administration proceeds in this matter.

Ok show me a place that has legal employees making $2 an hour then we can continiue this discussion. Its amazing liberals can't tell the differance when our country is happy and safe- than when there is a serious threat to our homeland and our way of life. It just goes to show you can never please a liberal so why ever agree with them?? If you agree with anything they say they chastise you. Instead of praising Bush for helping people get through the WORST TRAGEDY SINCE PEARL HARBOR they choose to play politics and whine. They whine about Bush's enviromental policies but what if he did something they said he should do there?? They would whine and call him a hipocrite. what do you mean we want big government? i dont see that at all. we want big military make big boom in middle east. i have always been a fan of having a powerful military. now i want them to use it. i dont see how you get the idea that conservatives want more government now.
