i think seashells are beautiful:)

Sometimes a really serious storm will wash up treasure from near by ship wrecks telling you the boat is close by.

But you would have a better chance in the Keys for this. After a real hurricane of course.

The last big time hurricane to hit here was Hurricane Hugo in 1989. Beaches were off limits for weeks afterwards. Nobody could get to them plus the National Guard would arrest you.

I'm hoping a large hurricane will skirt our coast but not hit land. Then the shelling will be great for several weeks.

Hugo broke more than glass at my house. Roof replaced, trees uprooted, storage building behind my house destroyed after tree landed on it, car repainted from flying debris....about $15,000 worth of damage. Oh, and by the way, State Farm insurance sucks ass!

My parents had 43 trees uprooted and snapped off about midways up the trunks. They also had three giant pine trees on their house. As soon as it was light enough outside the next morning, I went to my parents house to check on them. A fifteen minute trip took me three hours to make. Trees and power lines and debris everywhere blocking the roads and I was in a 4 wheel drive Chevy Blazer! Terrible storm to say the least.

You were in its path.

It passed through N raleigh and I lived S of Raleigh. Then I move to N Raleigh within 100 yards of where it blew through.

It came right down main street here. It left heavy damage here. We were more fortunate than most people around here though because we got our power back the next day. My parents lived 6 miles out and they had to wait four weeks before power was restored.

We went to the Virgin Islands and didn't find anything worth keeping. I was disappointed.:(
