You have to be the geocities account holder to link photos through geocities. You can see them. No one else can.

The pictures could be linked to your hard drive instead of the uploaded files-----I had that problem when i first put my site up--or the link might just be off a little

What does that mean?

That means you have the Pass word to the geocities account in a cookie on your machine. No one else has that on their desktops. That's the little file that the browser looks for to say "See I'm here open me."
