Cheat day activities...

I had a S'more Galore and a medium Blizzard. I feel a little slow, and a little messed up in the head (sugar is making me tweak).

Do you think I should do cardio today to help digestion/metabolism, or should I rest to get the most out of a cheat day? I worked out yesterday pretty intensely for about 70 minutes with weights (chest, shoulders, abs). I feel a bit bloated, though.

Waddya think?
 
Should I resume my normal meal schedule immediately? That would mean I should eat my tuna casserole right now, even though I'm not hungry. I ate the Dairy Queen 3 hours ago.

Why not do cardio? Rest is more important than burning the extra blood sugar?
 
Actually, what I'm really wondering about is...

How do I really incorporate cheat days into my diet?

I am not cutting right now, just maintaining and trying to increase my slow-twitch muscle fibers and cardiovascular fitness to increase my body's fat-burning ability. My theory is that if I eat to maintain while doing moderate cardio, and each muscle twice per week, one time moderate # of reps, another time high # of reps, then have a cheat day after the last day of high reps (high volume, too), my body will become more able to burn fat. Thus, when I do cut, I'll be able to lower my body fat even lower than before.

So, when I do a cheat day, if I maintain at about 2300~2400 calories per day, how crazy can my cheat days be? Should it be a cheat meal, like today? Or can I eat fried, sugary, greasy shit all day?
 
you could do cardio,but than your crazy:) because your worried about getting fat:P (THATS HOW ANOREXIC GIRLS THINK) im not a girl:/ but im around alot of them

the point of the cheat meal was to keep u sane why spoil the day? its not like 1 day is gonna do damage..........but if u want and u stressing do the cardio
 
1cheat meal wont harm you if your working out and sticking to your diet and stuff

my cheat/carbload day is coming up this weekened i am so excited:)
