Cheap Protein Powders

Does anybody know where I could get cheap but GOOD TASTING protein powders???? What are the CHEAP, GOOD TASTING BRANDS?

How about cheap, GOOD TASTING meal replacements(that could be mixed with a spoon)?

If you can find Diamond Nutrition Whey protein BUY IT! It tastes ALOT better then optimum nutrition's whey, and mixes just as easily. Its also cheap; I get a 5 lb bucket for 30 bucks at my local Max Muscle. Its also has almost no carbs and fat.

You could also check out ProteinFactory.com and see if tehy have any specialy. Sometimes their specials go down to like $4.50/lb. Or, if you don't have any worries about GI problems from whey concentrate, then just order pure whey concentrate from protein factory, its only like $4.50/lb

From my experience with protein powders I can honestly tell you that the best tasting one which comes from a good brand and its cheap at the same time is optimum's 100% whey as puttn said. You can order from allsports or netrition.com. You should get a bucket with around 80 servings for 28 bucs.

Then out there I think protein factory has the lowest price but I just can't take in that flavor they add. Its disgusting to me plus I HATE THE WAY THEY PACKAGE. But thats just my opnion though, but overall I can say they have the best deals, but I would go with optimum, well known brand, good price.

Forget what I said about Diamond Nutrition. I just learned that they aren't meeting the claims on their label. No wonder the shit tasted so good; it only had half the protein the rest was probably sugar or some shit. I knew it was too good to be true, luckily I only bought 1 container from them.

So I guess you should stick to Optimum Nutrition. Taste is decent, and it should be legit. Personally, I've had enough bullshit from supplement manufacturers. I'll stick with my tuna and chicken.

Haz- Where did you get this info from? I have used diamond nutrition myself in the past and liked it, but if there quality is not up to par than it will be the last.

Creature, I was talking with a lady who works at Max Muscle. She said they discontinued selling Diamond Nutrition because they sent some tubs of their protein powder to a lab for analysis. The label claimed that a serving had over 20 grams of protein, but in fact it only had 10 grams.

Optimum shmoptimum... hands down, Champion Nutrition Pure Whey is the best tasting affordable protein out there. Runs about 30 bux for 5 lbs. Puts optimum to shame tastewise along with a higher aa profile.

Thank you very much haz. Im going to steer away from them from now on, even though there powders tasted damn good.

I know 1fast400 tested some powders and biotest exceded label claims. Im probally going to switch back to them.

How about....

I use MLOs Milk & Egg Protien. 21g of protien per scoop. Runs about $23/can (32 oz -- 32 1 oz scoops). Best price I've found for myself.

How does your favorite break down in price. I've seen many offer great prices, but when you realize you need 2-3 scoops to get the same amount of protien another has in 1 scoop, you realize it isn't any cheaper at all.

Unit pricing....that's the key.
