I keep getting emails from members of this board with "Cellpadding" in the subject. I got one form mustang18, I got one from phantom and i just got one from KingJohn. I doubt that they are emailing me. when i try to open up the mail in my ziplip account, nothing happens. This has been going on for about a month now and i dont know what the F*ck it is. HAs anyone else got these. Thanks.........kappa

What you are getting are virus's that send themselves out and disguise the source byt placing someone elses mail addy in the "reply to" header field.

ohh well thats just wonderful.
What everyone needs to remember is that most virus's cant do anything to you unless YOU install them. There are a few which go after vulnerabilities in Internet explorere 5.5 sp1 and older. However, most of them are simply scripts, nothing more than text files, that end in .scr, .js. vbs etc and when you dbl click these to view them windows will check to see if there is a valid file association, which by default there is. This text file (ie script) is then processed by the appropriate scripting engine and the code is executed like a program and does its dirty work which usually involves taking over your micro$oft mail client and mailing itself out to the mail addresses it finds in your address books as well as on other mail in your mailboxes. The more intelligent ones also disguise the sender by placing a random address(shich it gets from other mail on your comp or address book) in the "reply to" header making it more dificult for anyone to notify the original sender that they are infected.

I just got one with the exact same title from my wife's hotmail account

If you look at the mail headers you can see where it originated from and you will see it wasnt her.
