Cell-Tech Creatine Dosage.

Aight i got CELL-TECH Creatine and it says ..
1. For the first five days (loading stage): Take two servings daily, one in the morning and the other 12 hours later or immediately after your workout.

2. Maintenance Stage: Take one serving immediately after your workout, or take one serving upon awakening on non-workout days. For optimum taste, mix two scoops (99 grams) of CELL-TECH with 12 oz of cold water (add more water if taste is too sweet).

After consumption of CELL-TECH, drink an additional 8 oz of water to help enhance glucose and creatine absorption. CELL-TECH should be used for a minimum of eight weeks.

NOTE: To maintain product freshness, store in a cool, dry place. This product is sold by weight. Some settling may occur. Shake container before use.
This is off the container

I'm not fussed about the loading stage etc. My question is 99grams alot for one dose? Isn't 10gms like alot :S.

Please reply urgently.

The serving size for CellTech is 2 scoops or 98-101 grams. Of that 98-101 grams, only 10 grams is actually creatine. The remainder is dextrose, taurine, ALA, and various minerals.

MuscleTech is known for producing some of the most expensive or 'overpriced' supplements on the shelves. It is highly unlikely that they are going to be so generous as to give you 100 grams of creatine per serving. :)

To save yourself some money in the future, you can purchase 3X the amount of creatine for half the price of the CellTech if you were to use a product like Prolab Creating Monohydrate. Just pick up some dextrose at the same time and do all the mixing yourself. Another alternative, is to try CEE (creatine ethyl ester).

My first intention was to get CEE, but when i got there they only had 3 types of creatine and although they didn't have the CEE the guy that worked there said 'This shit is the best' I thought he couldn't be too wrong considering he is 3x the size of me.

Next time i'll just go to the vitamins store and get a bucket of normal creatine.
Thanks Kian!

NP mate. :)

Next time you go into a health food / supplement store and a guy 3x your size says that a particular creatine is the best, ask him to explain the ATP/ADP Cycle. If he can't explain it or doesn't even understand what you are asking, tell him to go educate himself and stop wasting your time with sales pitches.

haha good idea except for telling him to get an education, he'll throw me through a wall :P
But yeah, i won't be buying celltech, it's suppose to go within 19 dosages for $120 aus that's heaps.
I'll just get CM and dextrose and mix myself next time.

cell tech worked well for me at only 5g post workout (one scoop). the loading and all that shit is the company tryin to make you go through it faster and buy more. i did that one time and i was bloated as a carp, zits everywhere, dehydrated all the time and no matter how much water i drank my sides hurt. get some N02 and take it with one scoop of cell tech. much better results then takin all that shit it says on the container.
