CD Changer question.

My CD player in my car is the factory player. Output to my speakers is great. Loud. Nice.

BUT, the output from my changer (FM modulated) is worse. I can't make it too loud or turn the bass up. Pisses me off sometimes.

Think I might need to replace my head unit?

How is your fm reception otherwise? If its ok, then its the changer, maybe you need to make sure the frequencies are in sync.

Frequencies are in sync.

FM reception normally is fine.
