cause birth defects?

I've seen a few post on this but I'm currently on Cyclo Bolan and I just read that the State of CA suggest that some chemicals in Cyclo Bolan may cause birth defects. Since my wife and I plan to start trying next month, I need to know if there is any truth to this? Should I stop taking it? How long will it take to clear my system??
