I don't do it first thing or for bloat. I work such a screwed up schedule that I gotta put it in when I can. Hell I even speed walk during my breaks at work on a regular basis. But I like cardio before my work out...it gets the blood pumping, intensitey levels up, and the body warm. I only do about 10 minutes of cardio before my leg workout, because my legs are on fire after the Ecliptical machine.
