Cardio first thing when on

Anyone still do cardio first thing to try and reduce bloat? I know I slam some serious food late night (just before bed) if I'm starving and feel fat as hell if I dont do cardio before my 1st meal......anyone else? Dumb theory?
 
I don't do it first thing or for bloat. I work such a screwed up schedule that I gotta put it in when I can. Hell I even speed walk during my breaks at work on a regular basis. But I like cardio before my work out...it gets the blood pumping, intensitey levels up, and the body warm. I only do about 10 minutes of cardio before my leg workout, because my legs are on fire after the Ecliptical machine.
 
I think cardio with a sweatshirt or sweat suit helps with bloat. I also sit in a dry sauna and sweat like crazy :P
 
I go for the high intensitey...heart rate...in my work outs...My cardio work gets my HR up to about 155 and it stays there thoughout my workout. My workout split only puts me about about 20 to 25 minutes per workout, so with a 20 minute cardio, and 20 minute workout...I get 40 minutes of high intensitey training.
 
you will get many different opinions on this question.

Cardio first thing in the AM on an empty stomach is great for burning fat.

I'm not sure if there is any documented evidence otherwise, if it is better before or after a workout. I prefer afterwards, unless I'm doing legs. Definately a good warmup for legs.
 
Def. a good warmup, but I'll put my wallet on it that 99% will say cardio either after, or on a sep. day/time..........no question.......
 
and if not, so be it.........the difference is MINIMAL....I've done it both ways for years.........I think I could eat a protein bar WHILE I did cardio and it have the same effect..........either burn the calories from last night, or burn off what you ate today............I like it cause it revs your metabolism the rest of the day.....but these 2-adays are killing me..........
