Carbs making me lightheaded/diahhrea?

im on a diet where i carb up every 8th day or so and i take the day off from cardio and weights. The last few times ive done it it has given me bad diahhrea and i have felt lightheaded all day, and it hasnt boosted my weights up as much as i thought it would/should in my workout the following day? am i not digesting them or something hence the diahhrea? what could be causin this?
 
The lightheadedness is from fluctuating blood sugar and blood pressure. The gastrointestinal problems are probably due to temporary down-regulation of the enzymes nescessary to digest carbohydrates. The body is ridiculously efficient like that - quit eating something for long enough, and your body assumes it doesn't need to have the means to digest it anymore.

I'm actually in the same boat on the latter - I was vegan for awhile, getting protein almost entirely from tofu, and when I tried to eat animal protein again, it made me literally sick to my stomach. I'm trying to add it back into my diet slowly - a salmon filet here, a hard boiled egg there. It's working.
 
Its normal for those who do keto diets frequintly. I always get that way during carbups. I'm somewhat hypogylcemic though. Dr. Pepper used to put me to sleep when I was younger. ANyway, On my carb up days I have to take a nap or two during the day just to make it.
