Car Stolen, WTF would you do?!?!

I normally never post on the chat board, but I am fucking in need of some opinions.

My car got stolen about 3 hours ago.....

I was at some random party about 4 minutes away from my aparment.

Apparently I left my KEYS in my CAR. :(

Anyway, so I walk out of the party, about to leave. Low and behold my car is gone. At this point I am pretty drunk so I am panicking. I gave my weed and beer to friends (im 19) and then I called the cops.

Two pigs show up and take my statement.

The problem is, I was so drunk(and nervous) at this time, I didnt get the cops phone number, im not sure if i gave him my right phone number, or my correct license plate!

Now that im thinking back I am kicking myself in the balls.

Ya oww, but Im wondering about all your advice. I mean im sure someone has had their car ganked before, what did you do???

MY keys my have been in the car when it was ganked, i dont know.'

I cant find them now.....

Give me some advice on this, I need it badly.

cop just stopped by banging at my door....


answered it, cop just told me I GOT TOWED WTF......


I was some random black '96 tbird outta all the cars......they chose to fuck w/ me!!!!!

Well, better news than my car being stuck in some ravine all fucked up, but still gonna cost me 50 bucks, damnit :)

Lets just say im a lot better mood now than earlier! K to you Imnoteutcheither, thanks for the response.



Anyone got any similiar experiences?

I had a car stolen when i was in HS, got out of class couldnt find it,, so i started walking home, and i friggen saw it in the side of the road and was like, That cant be my fucking car, and it was. So i got in and drove home.
Then the next fucking day it was stolen AGAIN, this time i wasent so lucky, but i did eventually find it again this time next to a place where i worked about a week later, except they fucked it up good., Kicked the dash to pieces. None of the gauges worked, they even bent the turn signal. Someone had it in for me to do that shit twice. Damn i hated HS cuz of shit like that. On a good note i upgraded to a better car for less money so it was all good!

I would have staked out who stole the fucker and then once they were going to get in it and go somewhere beat the fuck senseless
 
I imagine I was towed because I was at some apartment party and didn't have tags to show I lived there.

Since when do tow companys tow at fucking 2 in the morning on a friday night?

Zkaudio there are laws in Dekalb, IL that tow companies cant charge more than 55 dollars per tow. Its nice I guess.

Oh yea, the fucking tow company is in a different city too. Nice.

I was going to my car to get the rest of my beer and then get in the "drunk bus" my college so graciously provides to catch a ride home.

If I'm going to a party that is a few minutes away I will drive there (read SOBER). When I leave I leave my car there and come get it the next day.

So...

Bro, good chance that your car was simply towed away, it happened to me a few times. Call different towing companies in your area to find out where your car is right now. It will probably cost you around $80 to get it out. Good luck.
 
lol-yeah I guess that is pretty logical.

The whole "keys missing" thing was what pointed me towards my car being stolen.

So why were you going to the car in the first place. So every time you go to a party, you leave your car there overnight ? I am surprised your shit got towed first time every. When you leave you leave your car there and come get it the next day ? So , if you are going to the part and getting the rest of the beer after getting in the drunk bus that your college so graciously provides to catch a ride home do you drive or is there a designated driver that your college so graciously provides as well or does it have auto-pilot ? I am very confused and if you could clear up this confusion then maybe we could just be friends and party on the drunk bus one of these days ?

Usually I make sure there are no tow signs in the area (you get to know certain places when you go there alot) before I leave my car there overnight, so this really hasent been an issue before now.

About the "drunk bus", there is a campus security person driving it. The security dude really doesnt care if you have alcohol on you, his job is just to get you home safely. It's a pretty cool setup, I mean I have drank beers in the drunk bus before and the guy doesnt care. I think he actually has fun talking to the random drunk kids throughout the night.

Hope this clears up your confusion- if you want to come to NIU and party w/ me, be my guest- I'm not really a dick I was just being a smartass.

If you show up, I'll roll a J and we can spark it and have some fun :)

A friend of mine went to the hood of d-town to buy weed one night...he went to the normal dime bag spot, bought two dimes and walked back to his car when 4 dudes stuck him and stole his wallet and car. they also took the dimes, which turned out to be crack rocks. My friend is then stuck in a fuckin' scary part of down river detroit, late at night, with no cellie or public phone in sight. so he proceeds to walk to the nearest interstate and try to flag down a cop. about 2 hours in his walk low and behold his fucking car passes him by and then stops...the thugs tell my buddy that his car sucks and that they don't even want it...they throw the keys at him and walk off...
