Can't sleep...here's a question for computer gurus

Well I can't sleep I wonder if it is the potatoes I ate an hour and a half ago or what. So here's a question. I have a bunch of "Favorite Places" in internet explorer. My folks are coming for a visit and, um, I'd rather they not see some of these bookmarked things if ya know what I mean. What's the easiest way to back them all up somewhere, and then restore them later?

Access the "user accounts" through your "control panel" then create an other account, make sure this new account does not have administrative rights, when you log in through your new account there should not be any websites in your "favorites", when your ready to service yourself log back in through your main account and your favorites will be listed.

And tell your parents not to touch your shit.

How would you cut and paste a favorite? where would you paste it? I know you can right click, then cut but then where do you paste it?

creating another account is basic shit my 11 year old son created like 5 profiles on his pc.

I have XP Pro but I upgraded from Home (had to do it to get access to work from home) and I do not have a "real" login it still has the XP Home's login screen, how do I get the "real" login to come up?

Here's another way without creating another account.

In your explorer bar type: C:\Documents and Settings\
Find the folder with your account name.
e.g. on my pc my log in name is creep so my path looks like this C:\Documents and Settings\Creep

cut or move the folder named "favorites" then you could always put it back when they leave.

email them to yourself then delete them. when they are gone, go to them and save them again. easiest way possible

1) Set up a different user account for your parents on the Log In
2) Export all of your bookmarks to a folder somewhere, delete the ones you have, and when they are gone, reimport them.
