This sound like something which should be taken up in private not on a public board.

Nautica
tried private.....not effective. this is meant as a precautionary message as well as some well deserved venting.

Yah I know the Prick!

Unfortunately I had a run-in w/ him. I got a lot of info from the A.com guys who have him linked to another username on different boards. I'll PM you some shit.

I figured I wouldn't be solo. this trash was originally reccommended to me by a mod who's no longer on this board.

It sucks big time, but the guy is good at what he does (f#cking scammer)...He spent about 2 months building a so called friendship with my buddy. Instant messages, emails, and weekly phone calls all part of his plan. He must of researched some of my buddies old posts because they had too many of the same interests and used these to get "trust" built.

The Guy is Trash in my book

This is in regards to [email protected]. If there is another candyman, disregard this info. This is straight from Damuscleman who runs Yasso.net(currently under construction)

His real name is Philiberto Avera. He goes by Phil. He's Mexican, probably 5'9" or so, short burr cut hair. I'm still working on getting some more info such as where he lives etc. I know the area but not a physical address or anything. He works at the 24 Hour Fitness in Humble, Texas. For starters call 24's corporate office at 1-800- 432-6340. Talk with a customer service operator and make a complaint on him. Tell them that you are a member of the gym and wish to remain anonymous so don't give them your name or any information about yourself. Tell them that he was trying to get you to buy personal training sessions from him, and that he was offering to sell you steroids or something along those lines. Tell them that steroids are illegal and that behavior and activities such as these reflect on the gyms image and reputation. Don't call the gym directly and ask to speak to him personally. By doing this it'll only ruin your and others chances of getting anything from him. And he
'd just deny everything I'm sure... We'll start by getting this piece of shit fired, then maybe he'll see that we're serious about getting him and finding out where he lives... He also drives a newer model red trans am, probably a 2001 maybe 2002, w/ t-tops.

I got an email with a price sheet from this clown yesterday. Since he did so unsolicited I wrote him off immediately as a scammer.
Nice to know my instincts are still sharp at my age.

Got the same email yesterday. And I'm no expert at gear, but I sure as hell know enough not to respond to an unsolicited list.

Oh, and judging from Delinquent's post, remind me never to become a scammer! :)

A buddy of mine got fucked by him too, this should be made a sticky
