I found out today that a man at work went into the hospital for a kidney stone, and they found out that he had wide spread cancer. They were going to take out a kidney, but they also found spots on his liver, spleen, and one of his lungs.
This is the 12th person at work to come down with cancer of one kind or another in the last 5-7 years. Two passed away within a year of finding out, the others are in under going treatment. Management says that it's just a coincidence, but a lot of use are wondering about the work environment. We're told that it's not abnormal because there are 1200-1300 people working there.
