Cancer and Steroids?

Hi. I am asking this for information purposes only. The question is not if it would be dangerous, but HOW dangerous, for a guy to do steroids when he a few years back had Lymph cancer (light case of it, but still). Everything is OK now (blood values, ect.) - he is 'normalised'. Is this the ticket straight to the grave?

Second, what drugs are most harmful? Im specifically thinking about deca,d-bol,test.. deca is supposed to not suppress the immune system like d-bol and test, those 2 may be the worst, but what do I know? I do know they use Anadrol on some cancer patients to start grow though. Let me know any kind of information you HIV/Immune system gurus got

I think anavar would be the best possible AAS to use, considering that it virtually has no toxicity or side effects, produces only high quality, lean gains--------and will definelty help a cancer patient recover lost strength. Most of the people who receive legitimate anavar prescriptions in the US are HIV positive, or cancer patients.

Most lymphatic cancer is a result of increased estrogen in a specific site where the DNA has replicated into cancer cells.

Taking steroids is ok as long as the gear is (1)sterile and (2)is what the label says.

It really depends on how your body reacts to foreign hormones being introduced and IF your body reacts by increasing estrogen production to counter the increased test levels.

I forget who it was.....but one of the bigger guys on the main board had colon cancer years ago and he still does gear today...years after the cancer.

Can you get cancer if you take aspirin? Benedryl? Women who have hysterectomies often are required to take hormones.....so I am sure it's ok in your case too.

In some cancer cases....hormones like test are part of the treatment process.

For most of the steroid we use to build LBM, there is not much of a documented link, but that is not to say that one does not exist. When I was in the hospital with AIDS related PCP, they dumped steroids in my IV bag. They claim that due to that, in the next thirty days, I developed thirty KS lesions (a form of skin cancer due to a herpes virus). As long as you have a healthy immune system (or at the very least a CD4 of >200), and an unmearsurable viral load, you should probally be fine - in the cancer area. Now as for your liver, that's a different area. There is a lot of controversy in the use of oral steroids, and in particular Anadrol-50 in PWA's.
