Canada, You're Weed sucks

see what happens with government regulation? just in the past few years canada won the cannibus cup in holland for the best pot in the world. the government is shite. buy it off the street and you cant go wrong in canada.

BC Bud is the world's finest....why the government didn't just go out and hire some of these master botanists when busted is beyond me.

BC Bud is the best I've had in my entire life. I wish I had an easier way to get it then going there.

Christ, it's not even that hard to grow good weed. They spent 5 million bucks and got a bunch of fucking schwag. Idiots.

I wouldnt say that any region has "the best bud in the world".

The "best bud in the world" is any very high quality strain grown by someone who knows what the fuck they're doing. Many of the strains at the Cannabis Cup would be good examples. Just becuase more people than average grow good shit in a certain area (say B.C., Amsterdam, or California for example), doesnt mean that specific area is the best.

Also, what strain is "the best bud in the world" would be in the eye of the user, depending on their preferences in activities while high, reasons for using the herb, etc.

Some prefer Cannabis Indica (commonly known as "Indo") and its deeper, more physical high... others prefer an up-high from Cannabis Sativa (commonly known as "Chronic"). Of course there are breeds that are 50/50 or 60/40, etc. and combine aspects of both. For example, the most of the weed you'll see in the US is average, commercial shit from Mexico which is typically a hybrid of Indica & Sativa.

They should have given them some "BC Bud". Us British Columbians are blessed with really nice herbs.

Sounds like it may have been average/ok weed at first, but the way the govt handled it may have damaged it

The disgruntled patients said it was full of stems/seeds and finely ground. Leave it up to the Canadian government to compact the shit, transport it, then grind the shit like its coffee. No wonder they said it was bad. It could have also been cured wrong, etc.

Either the above happened (it was average to good weed but the govt. mishandling damaged it) or an improper strain, or male plants were included in the growing process, or tons of other potential reasons. Maybe they had a botanist/scientist unfamiliar with marijuana growing.

Whatever the reason, they shouldnt have fucked up. People need that medicine. Frack is right about the govt involvement. They should have had a group experienced pot growers growing a powerful strain selected from among Cannabis Cup strains, so they'd end up with quality shit, especially if its costing $5.75 million.

But wouldn't you agree that the climate does play a large role in the cultivation and of the plant? I think there are 'best' areas to grow just like you get the best wine from grapes grown in certain areas (Niagra, France, California)...

Part of it has to be that the good farmers know where to farm.

climate doesnt matter anymore since the best bud is always grown indoors.

if there were seeds then male plants had to have been included in the growing process.

Not if the plants were clones from a female plant. Plus, they sell "feminized" seeds now that are guaranteed to be female or your money back.

Check this out:

(includes descriptions of the plants, typical yields, description of the high each plant gives, etc. and a good search engine of the site)

Cipherlock, I would agree that there are ideal places to grow marijuana, however, lots of bud is grown indoors these days in closets, greenhouses, abandoned warehouses, in barns, etc.

But that doesnt really matter cause someone with a script can legally:

- Get it from the govt.

- Grow his own bud

- Have someone to grow it

- Just happen to be in "possession" of 15g or less...
