Can we try this Clen issue talk again?

I Love me some Clen. Great results. But There seems to be more and more research and articles talking about how it is way bad for your heart muscle. Not sure if I wanna run it to help cut again ever. I posted a thread in the past on this, and got nowhere. let's have a talk about this guys. Anyone? Anyone? The miche is open.

I have taken a ton of clen to get ready for competition and for general fat loss. I have taken up to 200mcg in a day. I did feel like I could run a marathon and i felt like my heart would race a bit. Now I have taken ephadrin for over 10 years so I am used to it. the longest I stayed on clen was for 6 weeks at a time. 2days on 2 off with epa on the off days. I would also use 50 mcg of T3 with it.

Got this from a post on another board. Hope it helps.

"Also, bear in mind that clen isn’t great for your heart, and can cause some issues there (enlargement of ventricles, etc…) but most studies showing clen to cause heart problems are with animals, and even though the dosing is similar to what humans take (in some studies) it’s important to remember that animals have more beta-2 receptors and they cause certain event chains that humans’ beta-2 receptors may not. Clen causes cardiac hypertrophy to some degree, in some cases. Again though, many studies showing more significant heart problems are with mg dosing. We humans take clen in mcg doses."

so what are these animals? rats?? mice?? if they are taking the same dosages meant for humans, that means we would have to be taking in like a few milligrams

the study didn't say which animals the testing was done on, but mice and rats are generally used in these types of studies. It says that the less severe heart problems where from dosages equal to what humans would be taking, which would be in mcg's. More severe problems were found, but they were in studies in which the subjects were taking mg dosages.

It does stress that the difference in the beta 2 receptors between these subject animals and humans would lead to an unlikely chance that these heart conditions would be found in humans.

Unfortunatley, this was the only actual study that I found on the subject.
Does anyone else have any other studies that they know of?

I have no studies to present, I wish I did. I see this more and more in the muscle mags however, namely, MD.

do you remember which issue(s)? I have stacks of old muscle mags. If it's within the past year I probably still have it. Maybe I can check it out and get an idea of what to research to get a better answer for ya.
