can someone explain "guest" to me

it now says hes a guest, not banned
it has no record of how many posts he made or his k
almost like he was never a member, that is the ultimate smack down imo
i was curious if this had gone into effect for all band members so i looked up the ultimate band peter puffer and it says band under his name still
