Can MP3's be changed over to regular CD?

I downloaded a few CD's from a website of a band I like and they were all MP3s. I burned them on to a CD-R and it's not playable in my CD player. (I guess they are still in MP3 format) How or where can I get a program that transfers them into a file I can burn onto a CD and listen to in a regular CD player?

Any program that records audio cds will do that. YOu probably recorded a DATA cd instead of an AUDIO cd. Some examples that you can find on download.com is NeroBurner, or NTI Cd-maker, there is a whole group for these programs.

You have to convert the mp3 to audio. You can use iTunes (free) or Roxio. Also just search on google for convert mp3 to audio and there is some free stuff.

If you want to play them in a standard cd player you have to convert them to the cda format. Musci Match and Nero can convert from MP3 to CDA.

sssssssshhh! This type of thing is ILLEGAL!

No it isn't. If I buy a piece of music I can copy it to any medium I like as long as I keep it for personal use.

I will personally donate $5000 to the defense fund of anyone who drives a truck of ammonium nitrate in front of their headquarters and levels it.

This is NOT a reward or incentive. Just that I believe that everyone is entitled to a good defense in our legal system and this is my way of providing it.
