Can I use this Test?

Hi All:

I have a container of 2cc of Depotestosterone. It's about 5 months old, but it is not expired. The top has a rubber area that gets punctured by the needle.

My injections call for only 1cc every 2 weeks. If I puncture the top and use only 1cc, will the remaining 1cc be ok to use 2 weeks later?

My doc has prescribed 2cc/month (for now). So, I can't use all 2cc at once or I will have nothing in 2 weeks.

Sonny, to answer your question...yes, it will be fine if it is a multi injection vial. I assume you are on HRT? What potency is the test and what brand? 1ml every two weeks seems low, you must not have a really low count.

superdawgy: Thanks for the response. Yes, I am on HRT. I had Test levels in the low 200's before starting. I'm 30 years old, 5'9" 165lbs at about 11% bf. I workout 2-3 times a week. After doing 2cc (200mg) of test every 3 weeks, I had Test levels in the 1000-1200 range during week 1. However, I noticed a large variance in how I felt on week 1 vs week 3. So, my doc suggested more frequent injections (every 2 weeks).

His current recommendation is to do 1cc (100mg) every 2 weeks. I just started the "every 2 weeks" change this past week. We'll see how things go. I have an open lab prescription that allows me to check my levels as often as every 2 weeks.

If 100mg every 2 weeks doesn't do anything for me, I'll ask him about bumping it up. In the meantime, he's hesitant to do it without me trying out the current routine first.

Yes.

I can't really do anything too crazy since he does limit how much Test I can get. Right now, it's one 2mL (200mg) container of Depotestosterone per month.

At those amount you might as well just find a good source if you are trying to make gains and not just do HRT.

I'm not really looking to make super gains on the HRT. I basically did it and am continuing to do it because I wanna feel better. In the last year or so, my sex drive has been really sporadic....it bothers the hell out of me. And for awhile there, I felt like I was PMS'ing.

The HRT has shown promise in those areas, but it definitely needed some fine tuning. In another post of mine, the general consesus was that the injections were spaced too far apart. I had lots of Test on week 1 after the injection, but by week 3, it often felt like I was running on empty.

I've made some really good strength gains and some decent size gains on HRT, but those are a bonus. I feel like as long as I have a healthy mind, I can do anything.
