Can I run two hard drives with diferent operating systems???

This computer runs XP. I bought a commercail printer that runs some funtions on 98 and 2000, for the cost of upgrading it, $180, I could buy an enormous hard drive and use my 98 disc.

Whats the scoop? Disaster?

It's called dual boot. Involves partitioning your hard drive. Lost yet?

possible, but problems can arise, look up multi boot from your new drives website.
I can not afford problems, my computer is instrumental to the business and deadlines are common.

A one day computer melt down is not worth $70 of frustration and anxiety to me.

Your 2000 drivers may work in XP. Look for an updated driver. If this is critical to your business then don’t screw around. Keep a second machine running 98/2000 dedicated to the printer if you have to and hook it up via wireless. Make it a print server of a sort.

Just found that the drivers do not go past 98.

Epson does not have driver downloads for Adobe RIP, one must buy it for about $180.
