I had a blood test and now doc wants to know why test level is so high. Any suggestions would be helpful.
He is probably concerned about a testicular tumor.
He does not have to turn you in (not required by law).
Only a very, very stupid doctor will voluntarily act as an informant on a patient to AAS use. 99.99% doctor wouldn't do it.
To get him off your back, just tell him that you are not concerned about it.

actually, i just remembered about a few people i know that had overdosed on heroin and went to the hospital. they had gotten arrested when they recovered, and had to go to rehabs and two actually did some time for it. but the difference is that they went to the emergency room for an overdose on a narcotic, and we go to private docs for a different reason all together. id like to go to my doc to get my test levels checked out when im done with my post cycle therapy, but theyre all female docs, so im kind of scared theyd flip me in... im guessing it would be obvious. i dont believe in lying to a doctor either.

my doc asked me a million times if my acne was from steriods i am talking about 5 tims a visit. I will never fess up to it even with the HIPPA agreement.. fuck that

It probably varies from state to state a little, but I am a doctor, and in my state, I can't turn someone in for steroids or even a drug overdose. The drug overdose can be committed to rehab for 2 weeks, but there is no way to charge them (and for what? as possession and distribution are the drug crimes, and being high itself is not a crime). You have nothing to worry about, as even if some obscure state (probably California) made it possible to charge someone for steroids by blood test, why would a doctor waste all their billing time on what is likely to be a difficult and ultimately unsuccessful case. But it doesn't sound like he is interested in prosecution, he's probably worried about a tumor secreting testosterone. If normal is like 300-900ng/dl and you're 2000ng/dl, a doctor is obligated in standard medical care to identify the cause. As long as you keep illogically denying steroids, he thinks, "Great, this kid's going to go away. Then he's going to find out he has a tumor in six months when it eats into his spine, and I'm going to be sued. I'll lose my medical license and my livelihood." You are creating the problem. I think the best solution is to say you did some prohormones. That ought to work. I would know you're full of it :), but most of my colleagues would buy it. I would suggest a sport medicine doctor who could provide real care in a genuine doctor-patient relationship btw

Don't ever tell your Doctor anything:

Now I realize that this is beer, but I'm sure that guy never in a million years thought his Dr. could rat him out and have is licence revoked. You don't know the laws of your state.

A good arguement was made here:

I'm still of the opinion that you don't even tell your dog that you use.
