Can DNP be used as a transdermal?

Okay, this might be the stupidest question of all time, but why can't DNP be rubbed directly on the skin for localized fat loss.

My thinking is that many of the systemic dangers of taking DNP using caps might be avoided if it were made into a solution and rubbed directly on the belly or love handles.

It's probable that much of it might eventually leech into the rest of the body over time, but would that preclude DNP from exercising its fat-burning properties while working its way though an inch of blubber?

For example, I wear contacts 24/7, taking them out only once a month overnight. I've been told that wearing contacts would increase my risk of cataracts 10X because of the concentration of DNP that would build up in the lenses themselves.

If I simply rubbed DNP on my belly, wouldn't I be able to avoid that danger?

Of course, the DNP might have to be mixed with a solution to slow down its water-seeking properties and keep it localized, that doesn't seem impossible.

Am I crazy?

first, i didnt say that cataract risk increases 10x. the concentration of a drug in the eye will increase by a lot, but how much.....who knows. maybe 2x. maybe 100x.

as for transdermal dnp.....no. first, it will be absorbed into the blood, therefore = problems because you dont know how much is in there.

spot reduction wont work either, because using dnp merely results in increased metabolism overall. the fat utilised will not be from the area you rubbed it on, it will be from whatever storage site the body normally uses. love handles will still be the last to go :)

furthermore, dnp can be an irritant. also i wouldnt like to expose any cells to high concentrations of dnp (locally) for long periods of time...who knows what will happen to the area

cheers
