Dude if it's a regular drug test they won't be testing for steroids. Like you said it is alot more expensive and is NOT part of the normal protocal for pre-employment drug screening

NO for basic drug tests, unless they specifically test for it.... HOwever that is really expensive. Drug tests ussually cover Cocaine and Marijuna

I was attached to a infantry detachment for 6 months. Their CO was pretty adament about testing and searching.

100% Correct.

This question comes up at least once a month on the AAS Board and the answer is the same everytime.......NO!!!

They want to know if you dabble in the bit of pot, which is a completely seperate test for AAS. No company is going to spend £450 (nearly 800 Dolars I think) on every employee to see if they use juice.

Cost to much and why wouldn't you want a steroid user as an employee. We are disiplined(spelling), hard workers, physically fit, in great moods when on test,and etc.........

as rex said it doesn't affect your performance. As where other drugs do.

The military doesn't include AAS in their urine tests. Like others are saying...testing for AAS is a completely different test. In my 6 years in the military i've only seen one dude get a piss test for AAs. Its way to expensive....and if you read the regulations....a commander has to have "probable cause" to suspect that an individual is on AAS in order to request that an individual be given a piss test specifically for them. The one dude that I seen get hammered went balistic in the motor pool on some dude with a tent pole....he had some real anger management problems....and an overall issue with authority....he was huge as hell....seeing this guy everday and knowing his habits lead to the start of "rumors" that this dude was using AAS....so after he whacked this guy with a tent pole the commander had his "probable cause" to make him take a test for AAS....and hell yes...that dude failed!....he didn't even get chaptered out of the army either....a few rank reductions....and some extra duty.......that was it.......shoot....we should have just kicked his ass and called it good!

The test for roids is sooooo expensive, companies can't afford to include it in a preemployment drug screen. To keep it fair, they would have to random everyone. NO WAY are they going to fork out that kind of money. They just want to know you are not serving the public while stoned out of your mind.
