I know the economy sucks, we are at war, many have lost family and friends so I am suggesting that everyone really go out of their way before the first of the year to really make one persons day. It does not have to be monetarily, but if you can afford it OK.

I am not trying to be a Polianna ie. sp...but it just seems to me the mood of the country is really down. I travel constantly for work, and it seems like a huge number of people, more than usual, are really negative. I have really made it a priority to try to be a positive influence to everyone I come in contact recently.

Actually, I agree with what you're saying, especially this time of year. People talk about the holiday spirit but I never seen worse behavior that during the holidays. Just yesterday, I was intentionally cut off more times in traffic than in the whole prior month. And I'm not talking about inconsiderate behavior. I'm talking about lock up the brakes or we collide type of shit.

You are sooooo off base here. I am not overly giving, but I have recently realized just how blessed I am... I have had a very hard life, but I have continually been blessed with really goood people in my life. Though many of these people have passed, the lessons and gifts I received from them are priceless. I truly believe we are here for three things in life: to LOVE, LEARN, and Teach. I hope that I can return a fraction of the love and knowledge I have received so far in my life.
