I'm staying away from prescription diuretics this time around for the next few shows I'll be doing here very soon, because of some serious complications I've had from them in the past. This time around I'll be doing the sodium, potassium, and water manipulation thing which I'm hoping will work great by itself, but just in case to get that extra dry look I was going to start throwing some Dandelion into the picture the Wednesday before the contest. What I was wondering is if it would also be ok to include caffeine starting on Wednesday for it's diuretic properties, or if could possibly interfere with the "carbing-up" process? I see that a lot of over the counter diuretic products include caffeine in their mixture. I also might supplement w/ some glycerol too. If any of you guys have any experience or knowledge on this or have heard of any others methods who successfully got ready for a contest I would greatly appreciate the feedback! Thankx.
