busted in T.J

Well, looks like my great stack wont be happening for a while.
Two of my buddys justed got busted in customs comming from T.J.
They have been going down there for years. They never screwed anybody great sources and always there to help a buddy out.
They would only charge a 150 bucks for your full order but they did get the money up front. So they weren't out to much money of there own, but they did seize his car and a huge I meen huge fine. I did not know they could seize your car of heared of a lot of people being busted but never that. I'am out a grand but at least Iam not in his shit.

A law just got passed in CA that you can get busted for showmanship, $1500 fine minimum, don't know about the gear thing though but if its drug related your fucked, so I believe thats always been the law.

Drug seizures have been going on along time though, so I assume thats not something new, especially if the car wasn't a beater, they resell drug property for cash.

thats why if your smuggling it is always best to keep your car parked in san diego, and take the bus across, and walk or bus back, they cant seize your car or give that huge fine.......other good tips, keep your money in your shoe while in mexico, so if the federalis want to fine also, they cant take all the money, what you got in your pocket is all the cash available, dont shop at the most popular location that can be seen with binocs from the customs border, go to rosarito, go with a female, and dont smuggle more than a personal supply, got to look out for yourself before everyone else gets hooked up! Also the mexicoach that you catch on revolution up out of the tourist spot is the best bet to take going back, involves minimal contact with custom agents, and if you dont want to do that, dont walk across the bridge that is above the customs gates, they have federalis scanning, this is how they can get you off guard in mexico.

As for the car part of the bust. I know a few people who have gotten busted in TJ, and yes everytime there car was impounded. Then they had to pay some ridiculous amount on top of the drug fine to get there car out. I also know of a group who went to jail at the TJ border so heads up, don't bring too much across.

Admittedly, I havn't been to the TJ/SY Border since 9/11, and I have yet to be hassled either way as far as how to cross, but I would say most definitely that walking across bears less scruitiny than driving. If you can cover-up your physique, and are clean-shaven & don't look like a little punk, then you should skate right through. The only thing is this though: If you don't have a California ID(considering that I hear that they swipe & scan ALL IDs nowadays), then you might bear a little more scruitiny, since an out-of-stater will always raise Customs eyebrows moreso than a California resident imo. Before 9/11, they never asked for any type of ID. They just asked you to state your citizenship.

I've been across twice since 9/11 and totally agree that walking is the only way to go. I've never been patted down, but they do run a wand over EVERYBODY. While the hip pack worked great for you, Marky, I personally would consider it dangerous. There are just too many places on one's person to conveniently hide gear.

I don't give two shits if even the entire customs department is reading this because they are more aware of it than we are. The very best way (if you look 26 or younger) is to buy your stuff on saturday afternoon, then get loaded at the bars all night. At 2 am, walk across drunk as piss with all the other drunkards and nobody will give you a second look.

Laredo/Neuvo Laredo is tough brother. NL/L isn't anything like TJ though since(from my experiences) there are alot more Caucasian Americans working there, than at NL. NL/L has alot more Mexican-American Customs Agents it seems, and they seem to let more Mexican-looking folks through, and hassle more of the Caucasian-American-looking folks. The exact opposite exists at TJ/SY for the same reasons( more white people working there than at NL/L), so if you are a white boy you are best served going to the TJ/SY Border imo. I have been to both and they are like two different worlds. TJ/SY has a TON more traffic as well, so that also increases your odds I would think.

But seriously, I haven't been searched while driving across, although every one of the agents has been a dick, no matter how nice a behave. I know they definitely check out all trucks and vans, so maybe the bus is a safer way . I have always seen the agents go through backpacks and stuff when walking across (admittedly during the day and not at 2am).

Make sure that whatever you hide do it long before you get near the border. There are cameras all thru the walk in where they'll be looking for people playing with themselves before getting to the line so play it safe.

LoL 20 bottles sure sounds like a damn lot, I can't say that I've tested how much room I have, and how do you get across the border without looking like you had 20 bottles up your ass?

I guess if I was afraid I couldn't get away with it any other way, thats one way to do it, if they dont strip search you for some reason. I was thinking about the heater box area in my car, that is a f'ing bitch to get too. I have a hard time believing some border patrol guys know thier way around my cars like I do, unless they have pros doing the work.
