Burnout? Could use advice badly

Wonder if maybe any of you could share yoru advice on conquering lack of motivation. I have been working out for the last 15 months at least 5 days a week. I should point out I am new to fitness and working my ass off to someday maybe be as fit as a lot of you. I have made one hell of a lot of progress and want to make more. I have noticed over the last month or so that my motivation, energy level, endurance etc are WAY DOWN.....very discouraged by that. Lately seems the harder I work the more tired I am and less progress I make...hell I swear I am going in the wrong direction. I was getting ready to do my first cycle but will not waste it while I am feeling like this. I thought about doing it anyway as I suspect the cycle itself would motivate me. .....I think that is a rut I dont want to get in though......I suspect that getting in the habit of letting the cycle be the motivator would lead to bad things lol...........Any advice you all have would be truly apprecaited. I will be damned if I am going to allow myself to go physically backward!!

I personally think you are working out too many days a week. You could also benefit from taking a solid week off IMO. Take off a week and rest. Change your routine so you are not doing the same thing over and over and feeling bored by it. I would also switch to a off cycle workout routine of 3-4 days a week.

Do you have a partner? If not, you should try to get one, you'll motivate each other.

I was going to tell you that it's normal and the best thing to do is take a few weeks off. Because it happens to everyone. Especially if you're not changing your routines completely every few months for variety in your mind and also to spur new growth. That was would I was GOING to say. Until I read this... "I was getting ready to do my first cycle" DING DING DING!!! That's your salvation. You won't need any motivation when you start your cycle. You will have more energy, motivation, and drive than you thought was in you. You'll want to go train and then paint the house, clean out the garage, do the yard work, and still post like a maniac.

No gear will ever make me WANT to do yardwork ;)

This is just my opinion. I work out at least 5 days a wk but I'm on gear and we know that shit'll motivate you. You may want to try:
1. Go see you doc and have some blood work done, perhaps the answers in there
2. Stay away from other drugs like percocets, valuim and Xanax. They used to make me lazy as shit!
3. I too have felt the same way you are now and was constantly searching for motiv. Theres nothing quite like a good cycle of Test to get those hormones raging...works for me every time.
Good luck bro

Overtraining syndrome. Classic signs. Either take a week or 2 off or just jump on the cycle. They only problem with the cycle will be this. Right now you are overtraining your body, the cycle will fix that, but what about post cycle? If you do what you do now, you'll be back in trouble in no time flat. So start a new routine like Utler said, take a week off and reduce your workload, then cycle. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
