Yes. My waist shrinks a little bit in the summer but not a whole lot. I don't let myself get too fat in winter though. You should notice your waist getting leaner and more defined.
Everyone holds body fat differently. I hold it like a woman. My face and legs can be smooth, while my upper body is lean. My back gets lean really quick and is very hard when dieted down. I wish the rest of my body responded like that. I also can still see my abs when my bodyfat is well over 10%. They're not sliced, but I can see them.
I have been eating real clean since last May. I notice I get lean up top first and it slowly moves its way down. The double chin was the worst.. at 14% too. My lower abs, lower back and ass are the last to go. I feel like a fucking girl when I think about it!
Sounds just like me bro. I had a hell of a time last year getting rid of my big ass and this year I took my bulk(still on) even farther and have even more to get rid of. I'm not looking forward to it.
I carry all of my fat in my upper body. Even bulked up, my skinfold on my thigh is usually 8mm. I have tested people with a vein showing in their bicep that had a thigh skinfold of over 20mm. Everyone is different.
