Burning AVI/DIVX to CD-RW

anyone know of a program that can help me out here? i tried converting, and ended up with a mpegvcd file that was over 2gigs. lil bigger than the CD i have.

Are you trying to make an SVCD or VCD? If so what matters is the length of a movie. You can fit 80 minutes on a VCD and about 45 mins on and SVCD but that's variable depending on what bit rate you encodely at. TMPGenc is most wide used encoding program I think. If you just want to make the file smaller for storage I'd use virutaldub.

looks like you reencoded it accidentally

what are you trying to do? make a vcd?

if you just want a straight back up all you have to do is make a data cd and drag it in...
