Bulking cycle....

Just gettin goin on my winter bulking cycle and was wondering how clean I should keep my diet....does the good of the quantity outweigh the quality is all I'm really asking.

When bulking just eat as much you can. Doesnt really matter what you eat. Of course try to include tuna, chicken breats, shakes, but some junk is not a big sin. Always eating the same shit could make you sick.
 
I disagree with the above statements. DOn't eat anything and everything. Do this and you're sure to fut on far more fat than muscle and the results of the cycle will be a waste as you will burn off all the muscle you aquired while dieting all the unnneeded fat away. Eat CLEAN, nutritious foods. Junk food has many detrimental effects on the body. Saturated and tran-fatty acids lead to insulin insensitivity which a shitty diet will surely be ample in. Excessive simple sugars will lead to increased insulin levels which also will lead to insulin insensitivity. Then there's the myriad chemical additives in processed foods that have who knows what desasterous effects on the body. Control your diet and you can control your physique. You have to eat a lot, no doubt, while bulking, but that is no excuse to eat food with no value to the body but added calories mainly in the form of unhealthy fats and sugars. My advice is to follow a set diet day in day out with one cheat meal a week. Just as one would while dieting but your caloric total will be much higher. This gives you complete control over you diet and thus you physique. If you're gaining too much fat you can see where to shave some calories off of. If you need more calories you can see where you need to add them. Bulking is NO excuse to eat anything. You still have to eat right, only more of the right stuff.
 
My philosophy-eat everything in sight but make sure you get at least 40-50 grams of protein every 2-3 hours, I try to eat pretty clean most of the time, but if I'm in a hurry and my choices are Mcdonalds or nothing, I'll go to Mcd's and get something with protein in it(chicken or burgers)--Shawn Ray stays pretty lean all the time-but he always looks the same-EAT EAT EAT GROW GROW GROW-peace out

I mean Quality not as much junk as you have in sight...
But maybe a little bit can make your dieting easy....
40-50 g of protein per pound of body weight at least twice a day.

Wow-so that means he should eat 11,000 grams of protein TWICE a day if he weighs 220 lbs.-that's alot of fucking protein dude.
 
Whoppers are my best friend while bulking :D Your bodytype will be the main factor in what kinds of food you should be eating on a bulking cycle. I fortunately can get away with eating gallons of ice cream, cheeseburgers, and whole pizzas without getting fat. Others my not be so fortunate though. Only you can decide what type of body you have. Saying that I find it very hard to cram in 5,000 calories eating chicken breasts and brown rice. They're just not really calorie dense foods. Eating clean is called CUTTING...
 
It depends...
First of all, on your genetics, how easy you gain weight, and how easy you gain fat part of your gained weight.
Second, on your goals.
Third, on your cycle, what you are using and at what dosages.
Fourth, on additional meds that you use or not, like T3, ECA, Clenbuterol, DNP.
Intensity of your workouts.
Cardio.
Your daily activity, it's a big difference, if you are a construction worker or student.
