Bulk Diet-Post yours...

Guys, I'll be starting my FIRST cycle in a few and have my diet already lined up. My diet will revolve around this meal- 3 scoops of Protein Powder(Optimum Nutrition), 1 cup of Oatmeal, 1/4 cup of raisins, 1 cup of Milk(skim), and 1 Tbl. of Olive Oil. It comes up to 970 calories, 103 grams of carbs, 75 grams of protein, and 25 grams of "good" fat. I'll have this throughout the day 4-5 times in addition to 1-2 N-Large shakes with 16oz of milk. The only exception is post workout, which I'll have 16oz of Grape Juice and 3 scoops of Protein Powder. About 1 1/2 hrs later, again I'll have 16oz of Grape Juice, 3 scoops of Protein Powder, and a Banana. As I get closer to bed, The carbs will be decreased. I'll drop the raisins or the milk. This comes up to 6,000-6,500 clean calories and 400+ grams of protein a day. Simple, yet very effective. So, what's your bulking diet???-THE PROTOTYPE

i don't see why people torture themselves by eating the same thing 5 times a day.. that's supposed to be a last resort right? Anyways, here's mine:

Meal 1: Shake composed of 1/2 cup cracked wheat, 1 scoop isopure (soon to be another powder), 1 cup milk, and 1 banana;
Total : 510 cal, 44 pro, 84 carb, 2 g fat

Meal 2: 1/2 cup All Bran mixed with 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/4 cup ground almonds
Total: 290 cal, 22 protein, 33 carb, 15 g fat

Meal 3: Chicken sandwich...2.5 oz breast, 1/4 cup cottage cheese on 1/2 of whole wheat pita bread; 1 tablespoon flax oil
Total: 345 cal, 29 pro, 19 carb, 17 g fat

Meal 4: Lunch
Average total : 450 cal, 25 pro, 30-40 carb, 18-22 fat

Meal 5: Chicken Sandwich...just like the first one

Meal 6 (Preworkout): Kidney beans, plus a fruit (orange or apple)
Total: 220 cal, 19 pro, 64 carb(lots of fiber though), 1 fat

Meal 7 (immediately after finishing the workout): Protein shake
Total : 100 g, 25 pro, 0 carb, 0 fat

Meal 8 (one i get home / postworkout) : 4 oz pasta with beef and sauce

Abrocketsfan, this can't be your bulking diet. Is it??? Where's the calories? Where's the protein and carbs? This looks like more of a maintenance diet. Anymore bulking diets, guys???-THE PROTOTYPE

i'm sorry prototype....

i accidently pressed enter before i finished...i immediately pressed STOP on the browser but apparently it posted it anyway...this is the remainder...

Meal 9: 6 egg whites, 1 tablespoon flax seed oil

In total, I take in 3100-3200 calories with 250 protein, 350 grams of soluble carbs (the rest is insoluble fiber), and about 90 grams of fat... i try to mix in some canned tuna about twice a week but no more than that...

If i'm still hungry, i like to eat almonds , drink some milk, or some extra egg whites....also, I'm gonna replace the morning isopure with triple threat and the postworkout shake with a proteinfactory shake, but those changes don't change much.

By the way, I'm 5'7.5" , so 3100 calories is usually pretty good for me...i can't really take more than 270 calories or else i'm overdoing it

hey,

I just realized you are talking about eating 6000-6500 calories a day...unless you're freakishly huge, isnt that a whole lot?

I mean, I recently upped my intake to about 3700 calories and may go up to 3900 calories or so , but I don't think more than 5000 calories is optimum for anyone.

That's just my opinion. I mean, I just don't see how you can put on more than like 4-5 pounds with natural eating + shakes in a month unless you're brand new to the routine. If I'm wrong, please explain cuz if you can gain over 4-5 pounds a month, then I wanna konw how :)

Andy, I take in 3,500-4,000 calories just to maintain my weight. I'm 6'4" 250 pounds and still natural for time being. So, I'll need to take in at least 6,000 calories a day to grow.-THE PROTOTYPE
