building forearms

using heavy weights should be enough...straps will limit your forearm development.....beating off works too

Never using straps unless really needed for exercises where forearms will give out before maximum stimulation of the exercise being done. Hammer curls along with wrist curls and reverse wrist curls as well as power holds help. This is what I do and it's helped me alot.

Do the farmer's walk with the heaviest dumbells possible.

That's what I call power holds exept it doesn't involve the walk that goes along with it since the walking part(although good for functional strength) focuses on more that just working the forearms.

Behind the Back BB Curls (EKG has proven this to be the best exercise for the forearms)

- Holds (with heaviest dumbells you can control, until failure or near failure if you cant drop DB's safely)
- Squeezing shit (my gym has a badass forearm machine that is definitely homemade)
- DB Wrist Curls
- Not using wraps

Hammer Curls work the bicep and forearm muscles too.
