As far as the andro thing. That is only an excuse which people know is a lie. Andro can and will not raise the levels up enough to create a positive reading for deca.
He needs to first find out if it is banned. If it is. Then take the test and lie. If not then take the test and admit that he took it. If if is not banned then there is nothing they can do.

this being said...noone is going to believe deca was given for medical purposes.
most teams have a three strike policy.
1st test is a slap on the wrist
2nd is counseling
3rd you are gone
if he had any common sense...he would have never taken gear like deca....everyone gets tested in spring training, so he was going to get caught eventually...now he will get caught again in march when he reports.
