buddy in baseball just got tested for roids?

If they know what they're looking for, then it will almost definitely show up. In fact, nandrolone can be detected for months after the last injection.

Deca can be prescribed for injuries but if he has not prescription it does not matter.
As far as the andro thing. That is only an excuse which people know is a lie. Andro can and will not raise the levels up enough to create a positive reading for deca.
He needs to first find out if it is banned. If it is. Then take the test and lie. If not then take the test and admit that he took it. If if is not banned then there is nothing they can do.

the minor leagues are not testing because of the strike. the comissioners office tests every team at random. 8 guys off every team of thirty get tested.....
this being said...noone is going to believe deca was given for medical purposes.
most teams have a three strike policy.
1st test is a slap on the wrist
2nd is counseling
3rd you are gone
if he had any common sense...he would have never taken gear like deca....everyone gets tested in spring training, so he was going to get caught eventually...now he will get caught again in march when he reports.

This doesn't make any sense (at least to me a baseball non-enthusiast).
I thought AAS wasn't banned in MLB-is it banned in the minors? I thought drug testing infringed on the rights of the players-But according to what you are saying they test anyway-or is this only the minors. The press hasn't mentioned what you said above about teams policing themselves. Interesting-dropbombs could you enlighten us more? Did you play pro ball?

Actually I believe he's correct. I read a lengthy article in Sports Illustrated that stated while MLB cannot test for steroids that the minor leagues can and do. They perform random drug tests and the first couple times they basically do nothing to you.

shit it doesnt matter, baseball has become one of the most overratedsports in our history, hell they are stooping so low as to test players, shit they need to worry about other shit, dont these dumbasses know that testing will not solve anything, a player can be using and beat a test..........and if your buddy was worried about the test he shouldnt have been using a steroid that can be detected up to 18 months after the last injection. Baseball my friend is about to become a sport of the past!!!!!!!

He can tell them he was using Deca for sexual dysfunction. He can say that his dick was hard all the time (which makes it difficult to bat because you have to stand farther away from the plate) and he heard that Deca could alleviate that problem.
