Other then Arnica tabs and gel, does anyone have any tricks of getting rid of bruises.

I know this sounds weird but the method (from what my mother taught me) works (well for me anyway), is to boil an egg, then wrap the egg up in a hankerchief then rub the hot egg over the bruised area for 15-20mins, do this 3 times a day then the bruises will disappear or heal up shall I say. What happens is that the heat disperses the ruptured tiny blood vessels and the debris gets carried away in the process. Also, this method speeds up the recovery of bruised areas.
There you have, like I said its weird, you can give it a go and see how it works for you. Oh, and you can eat the egg afterwards, protein, yummy!!

Intresting, I may just have to try that. Thanks for posting!
On a side note, I have come to understand that DMSO can get rid of bruises rather quickly, anyone ever tried that?

DMSO, wow, not being funny but I work in a research lab, in my previous experiments using DMSO in cell cultures, what i found was that DMSO enhances cells to undergo apoptosis, so if I apply this theory to your DMSO and brusing which will then explain that the DMSO enhances the bruised cells of the area to undergo apoptosis and then new cells will be rapidly replace by mitosis thus enhancing bruise recovery using DMSO.
