I saw this special on bruce Lee a couple of months back which was really interesting. THe special showed never before, uncut, and unfinished scences from this last movie ever. I can't remember the exact name, but it was something like "The Temple."

any way the fighting was just unbelievable. My hat goes off the the guy for sure.

Mr. Lee was about spiritual/physical oneness. As far as being "bad', any world class or collegiate class wrestler/grappler would've taken him down and mauled his gook ass into chopped suey.

Bruce Lee was aware of his vulnerability to grappling techniques and later in his career worked on this with some very good grapplers.

You seem to assume that somebody could get the guy on the floor in the first place without getting their ass kicked. And if he did go down you assume that he wont argue back. As for the gook comment.......that was pathetic. It was toatally unnecessary and disrespectful to somebody who has inspired many people.

First things first: If you want to spew racial epthets, then at least get your terminology right moron. It's chink. A gook is a Vietnamese.

Second things second: Bruces last flick was called "Game of Death" not "The Temple". It was the one where he had to make his way from floor to floor, facing various martial artists of differing styles and defeating them, in order to rescue some broad. The last challenge(on the final floor) being Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar, who made Bruce look like a thumb. I saw the outakes(or lost scenes) too on that American Movie Classics Channel a couple months ago. That shit was extremely impressive. As far as how tough or not tough Bruce was as compared to other fighters, well, there's always someone badder, as they say. I have never seen any fighter as quick as him though, I will say that much. Put him against any modern-day martial arts stars(Van Dumb, Stevie Segal, Jeff Speakman, Marc Decascos, etc.) and Bruce would be last man standing for sure. Decascos is a bad mofo though as well.

Actually, he's part chink...his parents were Eurasian from Hong Kong. I've been a fan since I was 5 years old and I even attended UW just like him and his wife, Linda. Yes, I'm a huge fan!!!
