"Browning" Mince

If one can't find lean minced meat, what do you guys think of the browning method of cooking the ince meat a little in water and draining the water which will also contain a considerable amount of fat that's melted from the meat and then adding the meat into what ever you want?

Not bad, but you can go to a butchers, pick out a lean piece of meat and have it minced up for you by him, personally I can't afford to do that and if I had a nice piece of meat I would prefer to eat it whole, but it is an option.

I personally think it's fine to do that bro. Make sure you drain it very well though. Keep adding some water little by little because you don't want it to get too dry or burned.
