NO i did not.. i would never use this to burn fat.. it is theorized that it may help stimulate the pitutary gland and the production of gh.. but theorized being the key word...

hey Rolgor.. next time you want to quote me, make sure you know what the fuck you are talking about!!!

but here is a little info on it for you Barnidge:

1) BROMOCRIPTINE (Parlodel®) comes from a group of medicines known as ergot alkaloids. It blocks the release of a hormone, called prolactin, that affects the menstrual cycle and breast milk production. Bromocriptine is useful in treating menstrual and fertility problems, and abnormal milk production. Bromocriptine can be used to treat Parkinson's disease. It is also helpful in treating acromegaly (excessive growth hormone).

2) BROMOCRIPTIN: A drug that stimulates production of prolactin inhibitory factor and suppresses lactation. Many years ago, bromocryptine (Parlodel) was given to postpartum women who did not want to breastfeed their babies to inhibit milk production. It is now known that such medication is not only not necessary, but may actually be dangerous to women. It is no longer approved by the FDA for this purpose.

Sorry, but I HIGHLY disagree with your opinion.

Increased dopamine levels have a MARKED effect on hunger(
They blunt hunger), and mood modulation(increased mood and libido)

Dopaminergic drugs also increase FFA breakdown through PNS
channels.

sweetie.. it is all up in my post and i included a link...

and just for the record.. Rolgor misquoted me and i replied to that fact and then with some information on what bromo is exactly...

whether or not it is a good fat burner is up for debate.. i personally would not use it...

so the only thing that was my opinion was the fact that i personally would not use it for a fat burner...

and the original question was it a good fat burner.. and NO it is not.. it is not like an ECA or clen..
maybe it supresses hunger.. but that is not a fat burner.. it is more like the old phen/fen combo.. and appetite suppressant...

There was a post by MS some time ago, either here on the Diet board or over at Women's Board, where she stated that bromo had side-effects. I don't remember the thread title, but you might to look for it.
