Bringing down liver enzymes with NAC

Has anyone ever used NAC to bring down there liver enzymes during a cycle? What dose did you use and where did you get your NAC? I currently use 8 capsules of ZMA-HP by EAS, but this only has 400mg of NAC. I was considering using 2000mg of NAC during my next cycle.
