Breast Implant Question

Hi Ladies and Gents! New to posting to the board but I've been onitoring it for a few months now. I was wondering if any ladies have gone through a BA yet? The board I usually go to has no one on it and I was wondening how long my breasts were going to stay hard for? I just had it done on Thursday am and man am I sore! :xeye:

everyone is different, but it takes a couple weeks for them to soften up, and before you can hit the gym again. check out implantforum.com this is an awsome site! just give them time

implantinfo. com is also a good website - you can get lots of info & experiences from their chat and also discussion board. If you got "overs" the healing should go pretty quickly. If you got "unders" probably more like 1-2 months. You may want to start back in the gym carefully (if unders) because of the cut in the muscle. Some of the muscle twitches & pulls can feel kind a weird. Otherwise, just go as it hurts or doesn't. And remember to follow doc's orders about how high you raise your arms - they if you don't let them heal without undo pulling (e.g raising your arms abover shoulder level for like 2 weeks) you can end up with hardening (scar tissue). In about 2-3 months you should notice them settling in and getting softer. You may not get all of the feeling back for up to a year - there follow doc's orders w/ rubbing with Vit E oil or whatever to stimulate nerve growth.

It just depends...it took me about 2 weeks to feel close to normal. I was quite sore, I went under the muscle. It took about a month or so, till they weren't so hard...that was 4 years ago and now I am MUCH bigger and when my bf gets low.....they shrink:( Take your time getting back into the gym...you do not want to mess up your new rack!!!!!:p

I had mine done earlier this year ; you should see a softening within the first month.Just remember to move the implants around everyday, to prevent hardening. I resumed low cardio after two weeks ; then hit the weights --- going lighter than before surg.--- at about 4 weeks. And gradually worked my way back to where I was .... kind of wish now that I went a little bigger.......wonder if everyone thinks that after????

Thanks for the advise gals- I'll just be taking it easy for awhile so as not to bruse myself more than necessary. And my man is great - already gave me a 20 minute shower and dried my hair to boot! Ah, the things we do for attention:D

Mine never got hard and I didn't do the massaging. They did drop a little after the swelling went down. That was a bummer. Do expect that though. I took a week off & just went to the gym to ride the bike.

Good luck

Well I've had mine since 1990 but I can say they look great still! Just a piece of advice once they drop a little and soften up don't stop wearing bras! I have worn a sports bra to bed a few nights a week since I got them and they just as good as the day I got them!:)

I do the same thing !!! Wear the sports bra at night --- I love them so much.....that I do not want them going south :) I am so paranoid about that --- hubby thinks I am nuts---but I do let them out on occasion for his viewing pleasure :) HA ha

seems like I should open an implant clinic so popualr out there...........:redhot:

WB -

I respect your right to have an opinion, however I wonder what you would do if you fell in love with a girl, got married, had a couple of kids and then realized that she had breast cancer, needed a full mastectomy and then decided to get implants so she could feel and look "female" again... Would you still like her?

Just something to think about when judging people on one qualifier.
