for one of my classes, we have to choose an object and go through the whole design process (short of actually building it). we are free to choose an object to our own liking. i need some ideas of existing objects (i need to be able to do research on similar object designs/patents, etc). i could only come up with two decent ideas: a bong and a telescoping baton with added weapon device. a couple ideas he gave us that students have done before included things like chairs, a hockey stick, and i guess i wasn't paying close enough attention to remember anything else. ummm, so yeah, just toss some ideas here.

structural stress analysis would be impossible with a blunt i believe. i don't think anyone has even tried it...
