Just wanted to give you guys an update. I started taking Diovan after my bp was 160/70. I have been on diovan for about 3 weeks, i am on a cycle of dbol, test, tren and my bp was 117/63 alsome!!!

Are you having any sides though?? I ask because everyone always says you never want to go on BP meds unless you absolutely have to.

Welll you have to ask your self..... Do you want high blood pressure and risk a stroke or take a pill lol. Some people say they have a problem getting hard but i have not had that problem.

Little knowledge is dangerous.
Anyone who says that, even a doctor, is ignorant.
There is a reason why it is called the 'silent killer'.
You start taking meds as soon as you need them.
These meds have very few side effects.
Your BP is more likely to go up further if you don't treat it.

Doesn't look like your blood pressure was high to begin with. Did you get these prescribed to you or did you order them online? I need some extremely bad. Went to Wal-Mart the other day and took my BP and it was 140/101. My arms are also too big for the cuff so that may be why it always reads high there.

Cool, good to know. BP meds are one thing I know nothing about. Fortunately my BP is in decent shape. Hopefully it will stay that way.

160 for the sys is high. You want to keep it under 140 and your dys. under 80. His dys. wasn't bad but his sys. was high. I went down to the local electronics store and bought a bp measuring device for about 40$. I bought the extra large cuff for 9.99$ at walgreens. If you don't use the right size, your bp will report high. What I think is weird is that during the beginning part of my cycle my bp was high and now that i'm towards the end of it, it's 120/64. the highest point was 150/100.

No i asked my doctor for it. He knows im a juicer :) I only use it when i am on a cycle. He told me that im borderline even when off the juice and in about 4-5 more years i may have to take it ed. Not a problem for me!

my BP is also high and i'm thinkin about some medication.
you say diovan works?

any feedback on it from others?

Diovan is awesome.....I always use it when my BP gets aggravated when cycling....Works like a charm.

Depending on how high your BP is l-arginine will help lower it, how much will it lower its ahrd to say. I cant take anything with large doses argnine in it, it cause my bp to drop very low

Can you buy Diovan online? I guess since I have insurance I should take advantage of it and just go to my doctor.

80mg a day?

Depends on how high your blood pressure is. I would go with 40mg a day and see how that works for a week. The problem with BP medicine is that your bdoy will get use to a particular does and it will have to be increased over time. So, you want to start with the lowest dose possible to keep your blood pressure normal.

The real normal pressure is 135/85.

I used to take clonidine @ .3MG but the lethargy that accompanied it was too much.

Switched to Captropril @ 100MG ed and it's smooth flowing.......no sides.

I take 160mg of Diovan and it has helped my blood pressure drop big time. I was like 135/95 and now I am 130/75. I get it prescribed to me. I am getting ready to go on second cycle(sus and winny) and I was a little worried about bp. Its nice to know that you guys went thru cycles with bp meds with no problems.

Are those meds beta blockers bro? I only ask because i have benign tremors and i was told beta blockers could help that and im going to be speaking with my Dr in a couple weeks about switching to beta blockers for that reason.

Nope.

Captropril is a ACE inhibitor.

Clonidine works through other channels to relieve BP.

What are some effective ways to "naturally" lower BP if you want to watch it but dont need to go on meds. Any OTC supplements/herbs?

Obviously, keeping estrogen in in check with AntiE's so you dont retain as much water helps. Sodium intake would also be a factor I suppose.....Anything else?
