Bodyfat Percentage

Hi,

Would you guys be able to do me a favour and have a rough guess at the bodyfat percentage before I start my cycle, I've just snapped the tape measure :(

It's kind of dark and hard to tell but I'd say around 15%

Not being a dick, but how long have you been training? You don't look ready to start a cycle
 
I'm 37 and training 6 months :) I used to be 18 stone fat, then became skinny and now want to build. Starting weight in June was 11 stone 5, current is 13 stone 8.

Not at all, I never get my age guessed when I'm out :) I did think about 15ish percent, I may hold on a cycle if you guys think I look a bit junior for it :)
 
They are pretty fresh, I've only really seen them appear in the last couple of months lol Thanks for the advice, I'll concentrate on getting the bodyfat down a little, it's on the edge of my comfort zone!
 
15% looking like that? No hate bro just my take on this.. You're easily 20%bf, go get it checked and see for yourself. as as soon as people see some definition they automatically think they're low enough, I can tell from your second pic that your arms are flabby and chest is saggy, this show high bf..
You have absolutely no base whatsoever to start a cycle, you look skinny fat, put in some work man, after 6 month of training i doubt you know how to eat or train the muscle right.. Train for another year then consider a very small cycle.

I train 4x a week with a personal trainer, haven't drunk a drop since I started this and keep a reasonable eye on my diet. I should not have put the second pic up, I have a problem under than arm with a gland, it's been like it even at 11 stone, meh! I'll get it measured, if it is over 20% I'm gonna be pissed!

Youre kidding, right? 10%? Do you even know what a 10%bf body looks like? i guess not, you are another person who underestimate bf%. I say that kid is 14%, and at 14% abs should be visible by flexing, people have the mistaken idea that you need to be 10%bf to see visible abs and thats not true, at a real 10% abs are visible without flexing, veins on shoulders and bicep should be clearly visible without flexing. 10% is fuking ripped, that kid is lean.

That kid in the video, his bf is nowhere near as high as 15%, 15% for most people means a visible four pack, that guy has a visible eight pack, and his ribs are visible as fuck, seriously, I saw a guy tested with calipers (a personal trainer who works with calipers daily) in the gym last week, he was at 15% and had a soft pudgy look, lower abs barely visible at all... Thats what 15% looks like.... As for the OP, my guess is 16-18%, to be honest it looks worse because your body is still undeveloped, another couple of years hardcore lifting should resolve that nicely
 
I had a good chat with PT today. He guessed about 16% but he's going to do the calipers on Thursday so I'll know for sure. He said I have some chest fat which is making it look worse so sort the diet out and add a days cardio on top of my weight training. Your advice has made me think which is good, I'll post the percentage as soon as I have it :D
